[He flails some more and tries to sign, and fails at that and he has no idea where his notepad is and and--

Well, the hug is awkward but tight and his expression is extremely apologetic under the mortification.]

[ o-oh hugs. nik is always receptive to hugs. she returns the hug and lifts her head to nuzzle at his face. ] It's alright. Don't worry.

[The nuzzling helps him calm down a little and he nuzzles back after a moment. Then he starts combing his fingers through her hair, as much to calm himself as her. He still feels terrible for failing but hugs are nice and she isn't mad.]

[ she's a still a bit embarrassed herself, but she's trying to stay calm for his sake. so when he starts stroking her hair, she reaches up to gently tweak his fins in return. ] Komkom can, umm, maybe try again later if he wants.

[He shivers a little, and they flutter at the touch. Feels nice. The words make him blush even harder, but he nods a little.

He's still too nervous to try again, but more convinced than ever that Nikkal is simply the best there is, so he breathes out a sigh and nuzzles her again.]

Ehehehe~ [ eee nuzzles. she gives him another tight hug in response. ] No pressure. Niknik is okay with hugs and cuddles and everything else! 'Cause Niknik loves doing anything with Komkom.

[No pressure. He has to remember it. Her words really are encouraging and he hugs back, and then tries a gentle kiss.

On the cheek but he's working up to it.]

[ she giggles and tries to do the same back, but-- bah her teeth are kind of in the way. now it's her turn to be ashamed. ] Oop...

[He cups her face gently and kisses her teeth. A really awkward way of trying to express it, but he loves them too, and doesn't mind if they get in the way.]

Aaaa... [ ok that's a really weird feeling, she just kind of tilts her head at him afterwards and reaches up to touch her teeth. maybe if she tries hard enough she can make it work?

after a few moments of opening and closing her mouth, she somehow manages to close her lips over her teeth. it's a little bit awkward, but she leans forward to peck his cheek anyway. she feels silly, but at least it worked. ]

[He smiles brightly and nuzzles her again. He likes the effort, even if it wasn't necessary. He's completely calm now, relaxed and in a good mood, so he kisses her again, gently.]

[ giggling again, a bit sheepishly, she pulls back afterward and reaches up toward her face. gosh she's suddenly feeling really anxious, but nope, she's gonna do this.

slowly and hesitantly, she pulls her glasses off to reveal her small eyes. this is an action she reserves solely for quadrants and even then she's still nervous, judging from her blushing and fidgeting. ]

[Oh goodness, he's suddenly so nervous! But he manages to hold still and.

welp. He thinks she looks adorable, okay? So he leans in and kisses each eyelid, blushing furiously.]

[ ajghfs face in hands!! she peeks up at him, feeling a bit shy. ] Niknik doesn't usually let anybunny see...

[He just kisses the tip of her nose and then nuzzles her cheek. Damn, where did his pad get off to? It's hard trying to communicate without words.

But he's very glad she showed him and touched.]

[ it's okay, he doesn't need words. she gives him a nervous little smile. ] Niknik thinks they look dumb... but if Komkom doesn't mind them, then maybe Niknik can learn not to.

[Ahhh he wants to find his pad. He shakes his head a little and puts on a thoughtful expression. If he can't write on paper, maybe... he takes her hand and writes out 'beautiful' slowly with his fingertip in her palm.]

[ aahhh that tickles! her fingers twitch as he doodles in her hand, and once she realizes what he's spelling out, she flushes bright blue and wraps her arms around his shoulders once he finishes. with an embarrassed squeak, she buries her face in the crook of his neck. ]

[He wraps his arms around her, nuzzling into her hair comfortingly. He means it.]

[ sobbbbb how does she even. she takes a few moments to just rest against him while she wills her blush to fade. eventually she lifts her head just enough to peek at his throat, and she frowns upon seeing the scarring there.

hesitating briefly, she leans back in to awkwardly kiss one of the scars. ]

[He shivers when she kisses the scars, but after a moment of tension, relaxes and nuzzles her hair some more. His fingers slide through her hair too, and along the base of her horns.]

[ she giggles a little in response, and just pecks at his throat again before lifting her head to look at him. her face is still flushed, but she smiles as she places her hands on either side of his face. ] Nobunny's said that to Niknik before.

[He blushes hard when she does that and after a moment moves to trace "true" on her cheek.]

[ she leans into the touch, her own blush deepening again. this time, she doesn't look away, instead gently pulling his face forward to tentatively peck his lips. ]

[He kisses her back, slow, soft, and sweet. This is nice. He could get used to this.]
